When a fast food restaurant gets sued, it won’t be the first

Memphis, Tennessee – The fast food chain Hamburger Fast Food (BFF) has sued a Memphis, Tenn., McDonald’s (MCD) franchisee over a policy that requires employees to wear a seatbelt.BFF filed the suit on Wednesday, claiming the franchisee’s seat belt policy violated federal and state laws that protect people from injuries in the workplace.

McDonald’s did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
